History

The principals of Travelcards Ltd introduced revenue generating scratch cards to the travel industry in 1996 following extensive investigation by the UK's top aviation lawyers. This innovative product was first launched by Britannia Airways in the UK followed by Britannia Sweden in 1997 and Stena Line and MyTravel Airways (DK) in 1999.

Following this success, many European charter, leisure and no frills scheduled airlines have introduced our concept, and we have now supplied over 35 million Travelcards to both international airlines and ferry operators throughout Europe. Our clients have made more than £20 million net profit from Travelcards and increased their other onboard sales by between 10 and 20% through the redemption of low value prize voucher claims.

All Travelcards are manufactured in England by specialist security printers who have produced over 100 billion lottery and promotional game cards since 1986. Our product is covered by special risks insurance against errors and omissions with Lloyd's Underwriters.

We were approached in 2004 by Patrick Lynch from Ireland as he was most impressed by Travelcards sales on a charter flight from Dublin, and had contacts with Ryanair. We formed Brandforce Marketing Ltd. in the UK as a joint venture company, and launched our cards very successfully on Ryanair in November 2004.

We formed Internet Intelligence Ltd. early 2006.

Travelcards Limited are constantly developing their product which now offers additional benefits to our clients including card sponsorship, database capture and other premium products.

Travelcards Ltd. have formed strong relationships with clients around the globe and joined IACA in 2004 as their first associate member
