A cabin with up to 400 pax seated in a confined area for hours, provides an ideal sales environment for innovative products.

The Travelcard produces a no risk, high revenue onboard product for airlines from the profits obtained from the cards themselves plus enhanced sales of other onboard goods and services used as prizes.

Travelcards concept

Any additional on board income is always welcome. Under current EU regulations Travelcards are treated as onboard consumables and do not attract VAT or duty. All Travelcards are manufactured to the highest possible standards, and have been designed specifically for the world wide travel industry.

With a better than a 1 in 6 chance of winning a prize, Travelcards' scratchcards are very popular with pax and crew alike, and high value wins attract positive publicity for our clients.

We pioneered and operate the 'no purchase necessary' redemption route, making it legal to sell our cards on UK domestic flights.

History

The founders of Travelcards Ltd introduced the world's first revenue generating scratch cards to the travel industry in 1996 following extensive investigation by one of the UK's top aviation lawyers. This innovative product was first launched by Britannia Airways in the UK followed by Britannia Sweden in 1997 and Premiair Airways (DK) in 1999.

Following this success, many charter, leisure and no frills airlines have introduced our product, and we have now supplied over 100 million Travelcards to airlines throughout Europe. Our clients have made more than £75 million net profit from Travelcards and increased their other onboard sales by between 10 and 20% through the redemption of low value prize vouchers.

In 2004 we formed a joint venture company, Brandforce Marketing Ltd., with Brandforce Ltd., Ireland, to handle the Ryanair scratchcards, selling our shareholding to our partners in January 2009.

Travelcards Limited are constantly developing their product which now offers additional benefits to our clients including card sponsorship, database capture and other premium products.
